Herby of MentorXi fame drops official single Dubbed “Hold You Down”

Young Ghanaian musician, performer, and Mentor Xi finalist Herbert Ohene Addo known as Herby Boi, who is signed on to Hakell Entertainment, has release his maiden musical project after coming out as the 3rd runner-up from the MentorXi house.

Hailing from the central region and precisely Saltpond, HerbyBoi’s musical inspiration stemmed from the plurality performance of the live band and brass band music, which all are preliminary aspects of the high life genre in Ghana. Having such a rich musical background but also acknowledging the global prominence of afrobeat, the Hakell Entertainment signee is making a conscious effort to incorporate
the high-life sounds with the current trends which have been named Afro-highlife.
