“Olamide is successful internationally and still supports African music awards” – Bella Shmurda
Talented Nigerian singer Bella Shmurda believes that his older colleague, Olamide, is the only successful globally renowned artist who continues to promote African music awards.
The musician, who previously urged African artists to preserve the afrobeat genre, is now targeting foreign artists who have lost sight of their roots.
He went on to say that they should value African music awards more, regardless of whether they receive Grammy honor.
According to him, Olamide, the YBNL boss, is the only major Nigerian singer who is successful abroad and continues to promote music awards in Africa.
