Nigeria singer Habeeb Okikiola Known as Portable has tendered an apology to musician, Davido.

He also apologised to Davido’s fans.

Recall that the two had been on opposing sides at the recently-concluded Osun gubernatorial election where Portable campaigned for Gboyega Oyetola of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) while Davido rooted for his uncle, Ademola Adeleke of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)

Following their political differences, there were speculations that Davido unfollowed the ‘Zazuu’ crooner on Instagram over his support for PDP

In an attempt to put an end to their feud, Onitigbo of Tigbo-Ilu Land, Olabode Thomas-Fagbayi, the traditional ruler that conferred a chieftaincy title on Portable implored him to apologise to Davido publicly.

In response, Portable apologised and stated not to have any issues or hold grudges against Dmw boss as he was only was paid to campaign for Oyetola

He said: “There is nothing between me and Davido. I was called for a job there and I collected money. Davido and I do not have issues. Meanwhile, whatever happens, there is no problem. I am a child of God. I am not fighting with anyone. I am looking for money. Fans of Davido kindly forgive me. I am sorry.”
