Manchester United’s legend, Rio Ferdinand had reacted to the decision of the Red Devils to terminate Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract.
Ferdinand was speaking in an interview with the BBC while on reporting duties at the ongoing FIFA World Cup hosted in Qatar. The Englishman believes the decision to terminate the contract is a win for both parties.
I think both parties will be delighted. ‘He did interview with mindset he wanted to get out the club. He wasn’t happy and he made it very clear. Also happy for Erik ten Hag, he has got what he wanted in this situation. Both are happy.
Ronaldo accused Manchester United of betrayal after he believed some of the top managers were trying to kick him out of the club. He also accused the manager, Erik Ten Hag of not showing him enough respect, he sited the game against Tottenham as a reference.
