Fireboy’s “Playboy” Is Not As Big As “Peru,” But It’s A Much Better Song

Fireboy is currently gearing up for the release of his third album, “Playboy.”

The album, which many have been expecting for more than a year, will be one of the most anticipated projects of the year when it drops. It will definitely do numbers upon its release, no doubt about that.

Owing to the success of “Peru,” Fireboy is currently one of Nigeria’s biggest artists, especially in international markets. The hit which got an Ed Sheeran remix that blew it up has made it to the Billboard Hot 100 (still on the chart) and has racked in mad numbers for Fireboy.

For a while, at least until after the release of his album, Fireboy will have to live in the shadow of “Peru” because most of his other singles probably won’t reach the levels it hit.

His last single, “Playboy” is a good example. Here’s a good song, a follow-up to a mega Billboard hit, from a guy who is expected to release his album anytime from now. But everyone slept on that song.

Playboy” is not very different from “Peru,” as a matter of fact. The precision of the sound shows that Fireboy knows what he’s doing and we should expect good music from the album.

The upbeat vibe on “Playboy” is what makes it an instant darling. Catchy, with all the right things in the right plays. Definitely a better song than “Peru.”

Playboy” may not be as big as his previous hit “Peru” because there is no Ed Sheeran, but there’s no question on which is the better song really. Fireboy keeps getting better and better. The boy is really something.

Well, what do you think?

Do You Agree That “Playboy” Is A Better Song Than “Peru”?
