Idongesit Ossom aka Orsom Sokay is an

Afropop singer and performing artist from South-South Nigeria currently based in Uyo.

His career in music professionally began in 2018 with a debut single tilted “Mercy Johnson”.

After his debut, he was “hearted” by his newly gained fans when he released a cover of Kizz Daniel and Davido’s song “One Ticket”.

Fast rising pop star “Sokay” works with the No.1 hit maker in the South, RexMadeIt (producer of “Amem?” by Unik Brothers) to made a monster refix of One Ticket – SJ Promotion

Well, let’s dive a bit into his early life.

Orsom Sokay discovered his music talent way back in high school. Then, he was a leader in a group known for presenting original songs as special presentations during school gatherings.

Growing up in a contemporary society, Sokay as he is fondly called listened to artistes like Plantashun Boiz, P-Square and Fela Kuti.

His music and singing style has been influenced by musicians such as Kizz Daniel, Mallek Berry and Davido.

Sokay has performed on stage shows around Akwa Ibom, Calabar, Aba and Owerri which includes the just concluded Ibom Christmas Celebration and has received numerous commendations from people and brands in the music industry.

Currently, he is in the studio working hard on a project that will be released anytime soon. The project according to the artiste will be made of about 5 tracks which will showcase issues about his life and career with intention to avail his music idea and mission.

Meanwhile, Orsom Sokay has released couple of singles which includes “For My Head”, “God Dey”, and “Mercy Johnson Remix”.

In this few tracks, he works with the industries top notch producers; likes of RexMadeit, 8Notes, Ogiver (Mix’D), Montebeats and also a featured artist Pakmi on Mercy Johnson Remix.
