Why I stopped smoking weed – Singer Bella Shmurda

well-known Nigerian singer, Abiola Ahmed Akinbiyi, better known as Bella Shmurda, has explained why he decided to quit smoking weed.

During an interview with the UK’s “In My Opinion” podcast, the singer was asked to divulge a personal truth about himself that some may find surprising.

In response, Bella Shmurda stated that he does not smoke igbo (marijuana). He stated his explanation, stating that he used to smoke but had to quit due to anxiety and concern about the future.

He claimed to have quit smoking four years ago and to have consumed only smokes and alcohol since then.
