Oyebanji Urges NYSC Members to Prioritize Integration, Unity, and Development

During the swearing-in ceremony of the 2023 Batch ‘C’ Stream 2 NYSC members deployed to Ekiti State, Governor Biodun Oyebanji urged the corps members to prioritize unity, integration, and development in order to fulfill the objectives of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme.

Governor Oyebanji, speaking through the Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr. Gold Adedayo, emphasized the importance of viewing themselves as agents of change and supporting the government’s efforts to enhance the well-being of the people in their respective host communities.

The governor highlighted the values of hard work, discipline, and service, and assured the corps members that the state government would recognize and reward outstanding achievements during their stay in Ekiti State. He mentioned that the state has consistently honored exceptional corps members with the prestigious State Honours Award, and he called for the unwavering dedication of the new batch in delivering outstanding service throughout the duration of the scheme.
