“Dangers for Christians in Nigeria,” warns Solomon Buchi

Solomon Buchi, a well-known media personality and writer, has openly shared his concerns regarding the state of Christianity in Nigeria, expressing that living as a Christian in the country can be highly precarious. According to Solomon, those who deny or dismiss this viewpoint are essentially contributing to the peril faced by Christians.

Solomon’s main argument revolves around what he perceives as a selective outcry among Nigerian Muslims. He points out their vocal response to the tragic events in Palestine, while remaining silent about the recent tragedy in Plateau, where more than 100 Christians lost their lives. Solomon Buchi labels this discrepancy as hypocrisy, asserting that violence appears to be condemned only when Muslims are the victims.

Expressing his deep frustration, Solomon highlights the alarming incident where more than 100 Christians lost their lives on Christmas Day. He emphasizes the lack of visible action or condemnation in response to this tragedy. Solomon reveals that if 10 Muslims were killed by Christians during Eid-al-Fitr, it would likely have resulted in civil unrest and significant nationwide consequences.
