Ebubeagu arrests 12 members of drug syndicate in Ebonyi

12 members of a drug syndicate that allegedly specialises in the distribution of Methamphetamine, popularly known as Mkpurummiri, have been arrested by operatives of of Ebubeagu Security Outfit in Ebonyi State. 

The State Security Consultant, Chief Stanley Emegha said the suspects were arrested on Thursday February 17 at their hideout following a tip-off by a concerned citizen. 

Two live cartridges, cutlasses and other weapons were equally recovered from the hoodlums. The security consultant said the suspects would be handed over to the police for interrogation and possible prosecution.
