Tristan Thompson’s baby mama Maralee Nichols shares son’s name and reveals why Tristan was not named on their son’s birth certificate

Tristan Thompson’s baby mama Maralee Nichols has shared their son’s name.

The personal trainer gave birth to her first child on December 1 and the basketball player initially denied that he was the father of the child.

He later admitted after a DNA test confirmed he’s the father.

Maralee, who says Tristan is yet to meet their newborn or pay child support, has now revealed that she has named their son Theo Thompson.

She shared that Theo’s name has a special meaning of “Gift from God”, revealing that she is loving motherhood after believing that she was unable to have children.

“Theo, my little angel baby. I named you Theo because it means, ‘Gift from God,” Maralee told MailOnline.

“I had never been pregnant and had been told I might not be able to have children. I couldn’t believe I was pregnant, when I saw you on the ultrasound and heard your little heartbeat I knew I would always protect you and keep you safe.”

She went on to call Theo her “greatest blessing” before addressing a report from E! News, which claimed that Tristan was not listed as the father on Theo’s birth certificate.

“Tristan’s name was not on the birth certificate because he was not present at Theo’s birth,” Maralee added.

Theo is Tristan’s third child. Tristan is also dad to five-year-old Prince, whom he shares with model Jordan Craig as well as father to three-year-old True, whom he welcomed with Khloe Kardashian in 2018.
